Engineering energy peaks at Engineering Expo

Thousands of visitors joined us at the U of A Faculty of Engineering Sept. 24 to take part Engineering Expo 2011.

The event featured interactive displays by professors, students and student groups, lectures about leading-edge research, tours of world-class teaching and research labs and even activities for kids in the EnggZone, run by the faculty’s DiscoverE outreach program.

Nearly 200 students, professors and staff members greeted our guests, volunteering their time to share the excitement and energy of engineering.

Your whole family is welcome! Children (ages 6-12) will especially enjoy the ENGG Zone, where they can take part in hands-on engineering activities designed and delivered by our DiscoverE Engineering and Science Program instructors.
