Random acts of DiscoverE

It’s no secret that kids at play are engaging in a sophisticated form of learning. At DiscoverE summer camps, kids from Grade 1 - 11 are learning while they’re playing—they’re getting involved in a lot of hands-on activities, making discoveries about engineering and science through building projects, experiments, and letting their imaginations run free.

They’re exploring the basics of science and natural phenomena, discovering how musical instruments work, learning about space exploration and robotics, and much more.

Girls find an inspiring and supportive group atmosphere in DiscoverElle camps, which create the perfect environment for fun and discovery.

A student-delivered initiative of the University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering, DiscoverE focuses on fun, accessibility, and mentorship. Our five-day camps operate in Edmonton, across Alberta and the Northwest Territories from July 9 to Aug. 31.
