You + Orientation = a great start to your year!
Do you have questions about your first year at the University of Alberta? Do you know how to get from the Engineering Teaching and Learning Complex to the Tory Lecture Building in the 10 minutes you have between classes? Or how to get there without freezing when it’s –25 C and snowing?
Orientation 2012 helps new students like you get a great start to your university career.
During two days of orientation activities you can attend sessions that give you the inside scoop on university life: you’ll find answers to questions like ‘How do I use the computer labs?’ ‘Where can I get tickets to a Bears game?’ ‘Which of the 400-plus student clubs is best for me?’ and, of course, ‘How do I to get from the Engineering Teaching and Learning Complex to the Tory Lecture Building in the 10 minutes I have between classes?’
You’ll meet other students who are in the same program you’re in, and your orientation leaders are students already in your program—they have all the information you need.
This is your chance to find out everything you need to know about the U of A, and make friends with the people you’ll be learning with. Register for orientation today by visiting http://www.su.ualberta.ca/services/orientation/.
