International Students

If you are an International Student, you must still meet all of the admissions requirements as indicated for High School Students or Transfer Students. All official transcripts verifying that you meet our admission requirements must be presented by June 15 for students with previous post-secondary experience or by August 1 for high school students.

Additionally, you must meet the U of A’s English Language Proficiency Requirements (ELP) as indicated in the Academic Calendar. Proof of ELP requirements must be received by the official document date as indicated above.

If you have submitted required documents, it may take up to three weeks for us to evaluate once the documents arrive at the Office of the Registrar. Please check Bear Tracks to monitor your application status.
