Meet the people who study, teach, research, and work at the Faculty and discover the excitement of Engineering.

Explore engineering on a new level. Experience interactive displays. Tour innovative facilities. Attend topical and relevant research presentations. Learn about ground breaking research. 

Your whole family is welcome! Junior and senior high school students can find out what it's like to study engineering at the U of A and children (ages 6-12) can take part in hands-on engineering activities designed and delivered by our DiscoverE Engineering and Science Program instructors in the ENGG Zone.

Tours 

Get an inside look at the facilities and labs found in the Faculty of Engineering by signing up for one of our tours. Tour Sign-Up can be done on the first floor of ETLC, near the main building entrance. New tours depart every 15 minutes between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Spaces are limited – make sure to sign up.

Displays & Demonstrations
While at Engineering Expo, make sure to visit our Student Projects (1st floor of ETLC) and Department (2nd floor of ETLC) displays and take part in the exciting and interactive activities. Make sure to bring your Stamp & Win prize draw ballot to each of our department displays to get it stamped. You can’t win a prize if you don’t have all four stamps!

Refreshments & Door Prizes

Stop by the Welcome Zone (E2-009) to enjoy complimentary refreshments. Take a look at the door prizes available to be won in the Prize Zone. 

The ENGG Zone 
Children ages 6 – 12. Bring your parents and enter the ENGG Zone (E2-010) to complete hands-on engineering projects and watch exciting science shows run by our Discover E Engineering & Science Program instructors.
