Alumni Weekend at the U of A runs from September 22 – 25. Come back to the place it all started. Reconnect with friends, visit with your professors, find out what today’s students are up to, and learn about the leading-edge research underway at the Faculty of Engineering.

Class of 1957 Engineering Alumni Luncheon
Plated lunch for Engineering graduates of the Class of 1957 and earlier, and their spouses/guests. There will be a short presentation by the Dean of Engineering and engineering student Christina Radyo. Attendees will be seated according to class (Chemical, Civil, etc.)

Memory Lane
Open to all alumni and their guests, as well as students. Display area with old photos, memorabilia, yearbooks, etc. detailing the history of the Faculty of Engineering. Light refreshments available. This is a great place to sit and visit while waiting for the Dean’s Reception to begin.

Dean’s Engineering Alumni Reception
All engineering graduates, and their spouses/guests are invited to enjoy a few hours of reconnecting with old friends and hearing about the current work of the Faculty of Engineering. There will be a program with brief remarks from Dean Fraser Forbes and a poetry performance by Civil engineering alumna Titlope Sonuga (Civil ’08).

Engineering Expo 2017
Everyone’s welcome to the Faculty of Engineering’s annual open house, including the general public and prospective students. Experience interactive displays and learn about groundbreaking research.

Prospective students can take in presentations on how to become an engineer. Lectures on a student’s journey and another on failure in engineering are open to the public.

Salute our alma mater in style. All Golden Grads and their guests are invited to the Shaw Conference Centre for fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Reminisce about the past with classmates.
