Applying right out of high school:
Transferring from another post-secondary program or institution:
If you are a current high school student or the last course work you completed was at the high school level, please consult the High School Students page for information on admission requirements, submitting your official documents, and completing your application. Once you know the admissions requirements follow the steps on How to Apply to submit your application.
If you are currently enrolled at the U of A, another post-secondary institution or have previously taken courses at the post-secondary level and wish to enroll in our Undergraduate Program, please consult the Transfer Students page for information on admission requirements, submitting your official documents, and completing your application. Applying from outside of Canada
If you are a student from outside of Canada, there may be additional steps you need to go through when finalizing your admission. Applying to a Masters or PhD level program:
If you already have an undergraduate engineering degree and wish to apply to either a Masters or Doctoral program offered through the Faculty of Engineering at the U of A, please consult the Graduate Student
page as the process for admission to graduate studies is different from the process for applying to an undergraduate program outlined in this section of the website.
