Reunion Weekend 2006

The Faculty of Engineering hosted several complimentary events specifically for Engineering alumni. On Friday, September 29 almost 400 Engineering alumni attended the Dean’s reception and celebrated the Faculty’s latest nanotechnology initiatives. On Saturday, September 30 more than 200 Engineering alumni who graduated in1961 or earlier enjoyed a complimentary hot brunch hosted by Dean David Lynch and Mrs. Lynch. Dr. Lynch spoke about the past, present, and future of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta.
Also on Saturday, alumni attended Engineering Open House 2006. They viewed displays from the four Engineering departments and numerous student groups, and heard lectures on a variety of engineering-related topics. Tours of the Engineering buildings were also available.
