Community Outreach

Programs for Kids
Sometimes it takes a kid’s perspective to solve a problem. Through exciting and stimulating programs, the Faculty of Engineering recognizes and nurtures the curiosity and creativity inherent in children and youths.

Nurturing kids' interest in engineering and science through fun, creative programs.

Girls Clubs
Girls, Engineering, and Mentorship (GEM Club) encourages girls in Grades 3 - 9 to explore engineering, science and technology, helping them gain the confidence to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

In Fall 2013 we introduced our all-new Girls Coding Club. We are excited to announce that we are continuing this initiative for it's fourth term into Winter 2015. In order to tailor the content to our participants' abilities, we introduce a new curriculum into both levels of Coding Club every term.

School Programs
The Faculty of Engineering helps teachers and students from kindergarten to Grade 12 experience the excitement of engineering, science and technology. The Faculty broadens educational experiences in your school, and provides opportunities to explore engineering on our campus.

In Your Community
Through a number of clubs and events, the Faculty of Engineering and our students contribute to society by lending expertise and time to help those in need.
